António Guimarães
Oral surgery, implant dentistry and rehabilitation.
Graduated in Dentistry from the Instituto Universitário de Ciências da Saúde (IUCS/CESPU), Portugal, completing his integrated Master's degree in Dentistry in 2013. From the beginning of his professional life he oriented his career towards oral surgery, implant dentistry and dental rehabilitation.
In 2018 he joined the small resident group of the clinical residency programme in Implant-Supported Surgery and Rehabilitation at IRON Education in Oporto. In 2020 he completed the postgraduate programme in Periodontal and Peri-implant Regeneration run by Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan and the 26K Institute in Paris.
He is a professor and invited lecturer on a number of private courses, teaching in digital dentistry, periodontal regeneration and guided surgery in implant dentistry, and was recently appointed Assistant Professor in the Periodontology department at Fernando Pessoa University in Oporto.
